NHS Dental Treatments
Patient charges relate to a course of treatment rather than a fee per item basis. Our dentists will be happy to advise you on the cost of your treatment plan. From 1st April 2018, NHS dental charges are as follows:
Band 1 course of treatment: £21.60 This covers an examination, diagnosis, advice on how to prevent future problems, x-Rays and a simple scale and polish if clinically necessary.
Band 2 course of treatment: £59.10 This covers everything listed in Band 1, plus other treatment such as fillings, root canal work if it is necessary to maintain oral health and extractions of one or more teeth.
Band 3 course of treatment: £256.50 This includes everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures or bridges that may be necessary to maintain oral health. We also offer individual oral healthcare advice
We have close links with specialist clinicians at Resolution Specialist Treatment Centre should we need to refer a patient for orthodontic, implant, periodontic or endodontic treatment as well as minor oral surgery.
We offer emergency cover usually available on the day of contact for our patients from Monday to Friday. If the practice is closed please contact the Somerset Dental Advice line on 0300 1237691 or the NHS Direct Advice Line on 111.
