To all our patients

We hope that you and your family are in good health.

Both our practices are open and now offering a full range of appointments, including check-ups.  We are gradually contacting all the patients cancelled during the first lockdown to re-arrange any routine appointments, in chronological order, so it may be a little while before we contact you.  If, however, you are concerned and would like to book an examination, please contact the practice. You may find that appointment times and availability are more restricted than you are used to; this is so that we can adhere to the current cross infection guidelines and protect both our staff and patients.

Please bear with us as, due to the increased safeguards and procedures, there is increased pressure on the staff and there may be delays in answering your call.  An answer machine is available and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We have good links with a specialist orthodontic service and offer a comprehensive care package for children. We have a team of oral health educators enabling us to offer preventative care and advice. Our dentists are committed in the long term to the Apex Dental Group and this enables us to offer our patients the opportunity to build long-term relationships with their dentists, which we know many patients value.

Sending your kids in with Granny?

A person with ‘parental responsibility’ MUST either have attended the initial examination appointment or, if a parent is unable to attend the appointment with the child, a consent form must be signed to allow us to discuss and agree the treatment with the accompanying adult.

Update your medical history!

It is necessary for every patient to update their medical history at every examination appointment. Download a form here so that you can fill it in at your leisure and bring it with you to your appointment, saving you time and stress in the waiting room!
